Automotive FleetWise Integration

Overview

Automotive Cloud provides seamless integration with AWS Fleetwise to enable real-time processing and orchestration of connected vehicle data. This integration ensures that IoT-enabled vehicles can securely transmit data, which is collected, curated, and processed before being ingested into Automotive Cloud's Event Orchestration Framework. By leveraging AWS Fleetwise and MuleSoft, Automotive Cloud enhances the ability to monitor, analyze, and act on vehicle-generated events efficiently.

Integration Flow

• IoT-Enabled Vehicle Event: The connected vehicle sends an event containing telematics data to AWS Fleetwise.
• Data Collection & Curation: AWS Fleetwise stores the received data in an Amazon S3 bucket and curates it for processing.
• Queue Management: The curated data is placed into a queue managed by MuleSoft.
• MuleSoft Data Processing: MuleSoft polls the queue, groups data based on vehicleName and measureName, and retrieves essential metadata such as VIN and vehicleId.
• Data Publication: The structured data is then published to Automotive Cloud's inbound events API.
• Event Orchestration: Auto Cloud's Event Orchestration Framework processes the data, triggering workflows and insights based on predefined rules and conditions.

This integration enhances connected vehicle ecosystems by providing real-time data processing, improving operational efficiency, and enabling proactive decision-making based on vehicle telemetry.
