Use Cases
The Vehicle Inventory integration facilitates the efficient transfer of vehicle inventory data from external systems to Automotive Cloud within the automotive ecosystem. Operating as a one-way communication pathway, this pre-built integration is initiated from the external system. The initiation process involves either a POST or GET request. With a POST request, the vehicle inventory data is securely transmitted and written into Automotive Cloud, ensuring its seamless integration into the system. Conversely, a GET request retrieves existing vehicle inventory data stored within Automotive Cloud, providing access to valuable information for analysis and further processing.
The Vehicle Inventory integration app is developed using MuleSoft and is aligned with the STAR Standard 5. For detailed information on the STAR Vehicle Inventory document, refer to the Vehicle Inventory Standard 5 documentation.
