Auto Star Vehicle Specification

You must have access to an Automotive Cloud Salesforce environment with the Spring’24 release and have a basic understanding of the Automotive Cloud functionalities and STAR. The Vehicle Specification integration application is deployed to your Mule instance, so you must also have access to the Anypoint Platform org where your app is running.

MuleSoft Direct

The Vehicle Specification integration is available for discovery and deployment through the MuleSoft Direct application in Salesforce Automotive Cloud. To access MuleSoft Direct, navigate to Setup → Industries Integrations → Integration Setup.

Pre-requisite

• An External Client App must be created in Salesforce. The Client ID and Client Secret are used for authentication during the integration app deployment.

Setup

1. Log in to Salesforce and navigate to the Setup page.
2. Search for the ‘Integrations Setup’ page.
3. Select the Vehicle Specification application and click Enable.
4. Enter the application display name, target business group, and environment for deployment, then click Next.
5. Enter the required information in the subsequent screens, and then click Enable.
