Setup Guide

Before You Begin

  • You must have access to an Employee Service Salesforce environment with the Spring’25 release.

  • You must know how Employee Service and SAP Success Factor work.

  • The Employee Sync from the SAP Success Factor integration application is deployed to your Mule instance, so you must also have access to the Anypoint Platform org where your app is running.

To get access to Employee Service and Anypoint Platform, reach out to your Salesforce Account Executives.

Access MuleSoft Direct

The Employee Sync from SAP Success Factor integration is available for discovery and deployment through the MuleSoft Direct application in Salesforce Employee Service Cloud. To access MuleSoft Direct, navigate to Setup β†’ MuleSoft β†’ MuleSoft Direct Setup.

Pre-requisite

  • Create a Connected App in Salesforce. The Client ID and Client Secret are used for authentication during the integration app deployment.

  • Have your SAP Success Factor authentication information handy.

Setup

  1. Log in to Salesforce and navigate to the Setup page.

  2. In the quick find box, find and select MuleSoft Direct.

  3. Select the SAP Suceess Factor Employee Data Sync application and click Enable.

  4. Enter the application display name, target business group, and environment for deployment, then click Next.

  5. Enter the required information in the subsequent screens, and then click Proceed.
