The TMF674 Geographic Site Management API from TM Forum enables you to manage (create, read, delete) sites that can be associated with a customer, an account, a service delivery, or other entities. This API defines a Site as a convenience class that allows easy referral to places that are important to other entities. A geographic place is the entity that can answer the question “where?”, allowing the determination of where things are in relation to the earth’s surface. The place can be represented either in a textual structured way (geographic address) or as a geometrical reference to a spatial reference system (geographical location).

This API is related to the two APIs that also cover the SID Geographic Place entity:

  • Geographic Address Management API, for managing places defined in a structured textual way, for example, street name, street number, and so on. It also validates the existence of the given address definition.

  • GeoLocation API, which is used for managing places. It is used to define a shape in the space reference about the Earth's surface (coordinates...) and the relationship between different geolocations (distance, proximity...).

The TMF674 Geographic Site Management outbound API is available from Salesforce to allow outbound calls to external systems to manage site elements. See for more details about the TMF674 outbound API.

TMF674 Geographic Site Management outbound API supports the following REST operations:

  • GET

  • POST

  • PATCH

NOTE : This API has been tested with an external system that required specific customizations in alignment with TMF standards. Additionally, the API may not include all optional fields. Please note that the API may not function out-of-the-box with your systems and will likely require customizations tailored to your specific setup. We advise thoroughly evaluating the API and ensure the necessary customizations are implemented for it to work with your system
