This API is intended to be called by Service Companies. It provides SCs with the ability to query and update copper work orders.

What is the Copper Work Order API?

The Copper Work Order API allows you to automate your interactions with Service Orders created in the Integrated Customer Management System (ICMS). The primary intent of this API is to replace the ICMS User Interface.

The Copper Work Order API supports operations on an ICMS Service Order, throughout its lifecycle, from the point where it is transitioned into the dispatch stage through to when it is posted. You will be able to receive notifications of new Service Orders, retrieve field work instructions and update attributes, and progress the Service Order through its lifecycle stages. Essentially, you can complete the same operations via the Copper Work Order API as can be completed via an ICMS screen.

The Copper Work Order API reflects the business rules, stage path and error messages as they are represented in ICMS.

Currently, the Copper Work Order API supports Chorus’ Fibre & Copper products.
