What is the Order Feasibility API?

The Order Feasibility API enables you to request a feasibility check. The request is validated by our system, which provides an outcome including a feasibility reason and code.

Fibre ordering and fulfilment

When you progress through the fibre ordering process, an order feasibility check is a pre-requisite to submitting your order. This check tells you if an order is possible, and if any additional work needs to be completed by Chorus before scheduling can occur.

What you can do with this API

The Order Feasibility API enables you to request an order feasibility check for:

  • order type, location, and product offer
  • order type, location, and product offer plus CSE product offer.

The Order Feasibility API provides a feasibility result, including:

  • reason
  • code
  • next steps, if applicable.

Note: The feasibility result is valid for up to 30 days, depending on the product family type.
