What is the Order Notification API?

The Order Notification API allows Chorus to send notifications about changes to an order or service to an endpoint implemented by you. Chorus can also notify you when an answer to a question on an order is required.

Fibre ordering and fulfilment

When you create a fibre order and you want to stay informed of progress, the Order Notification API supplies updates on an order as changes occur. These notifications provide updates when the order status changes, an event is completed, a question is raised, or if an order, which impacts services you own, has been raised in the system by another RSP.

What you can do with this API

The Order Notification API enables you to:

  • receive notifications sent by Chorus regarding changes to orders or services you own,
  • via a POST operation supported and provided by you.
