Test cases

As with any software development, Chorus encourages you to test your application with both positive and negative scenarios.

Comprehensive testing of your application should also include:

  • different types of requests
  • different types of data
  • handling errors and exceptions.

You will find test scenarios in the status notification summary for each notification type under How to use the API. The notifications have been grouped together to help make it easier for you to identify and test each relevant notification type.

Test data

For the Order Notification API, you can create your own test cases and data using the test scenarios provided for the other Fibre APIs. For your testing purposes, refer to the data collected via notifications received during the lifecycle of your fibre orders.
