Overview

The Identity Management API provides features to create and maintain the identities of relevant stakeholder entities in a payment programme. Typical identities include:

Accountholders

An accountholder is a responsible person or business organisation attached to a card or account. Usually the terms accountholder and cardholder are synonymous. A business responsible for an account may do so instead of or as well as a person (i.e. employee).

Onboarding

For some PPS customers, Accountholders will need to be "onboarded" for a Product Class in order to then be associated with an Account for that Product Class. This initiates a due-diligence process, which may not be completed in the duration of the call that triggers it.
