M3 Budget and Forecast API

In an effort to leverage technology to improve financial performance, M3 Budget Forecast API was designed to share real-time by period budget and forecast data in a JSON format through a secure means. M3 hosts budget and forecasts in Accounting Core. M3 has also recently developed and released the greatest budget forecast ever seen. M3's budget/forecast APIs to GET data will pull based on the customers subscriptions whether that be from Accounting Core or Insight. POST budgets and forecasts will only import the data into Accounting Cores budget and forecast modules. Insight budget and forecast is so robust users would rather manage the budget and forecasts within the Insight application.

/budgets

GET - Currently you have the ability for strategic partners, vendors and customers using GET to securely extract budget details from M3 by company, property, and fiscal year.

POST - Ability to import entire budgets or changes to existing budgets through API as they occur. ** POST budgets now requires a bearer token, which you can retrieve by using https://intg.m3as.com/api/v1/one/auth/token

/forecasts

Outbound - Leverage the information gathered from the forecast list to identify the desired forecast you want to leverage and use the API to extract the forecast in by period format.

Inbound - Ability to import entire forecast or changes to existing forecasts through API as they occur. Combine with the forecast list to identify the correct forecast you want to update, then using the POST forecasts to update values within M3's Accounting Core.
