The local market applications want to receive feedback when a consumer opens an email or clicks on a specific link so that they will be able to have more information about the consumer and they can create more targeted campaigns.

The scope of this integration is to support different 3rd party systems to pull behavioural data from the Salesforce Marketing Cloud system using some APIs.

The solution is divided into 2 parts.

  1. The scheduler job in MuleSoft, runs once a day for each market and pulls the data from the Salesforce Marketing system and inserts them into staging database tables.
  2. Any 3rd party system can pull the data from staging tables using MuleSoft Experience APIs and based on the security policy assigned to the access credentials supplied to the market.

WARNING

This documentation intends to help a market build their integration between their local market application and MuleSoft API to extract the behavioural data from CMT.

This will require a development effort, owned by the market, to connect to these APIs.
