API Access

The endpoints of this API are exposed via Data Products on the Rail Data Marketplace. No new requests for direct access are now being accepted, please request access via the RDM.

Overview

This API provides the real time performance data to be made available and exposed to senior management within NR, the wider industry, the government and the general public to illustrate how the railway is performing at a given time.

This API provides following resources to retrieve reference data and performance data.

RAG Status: Retrieves all available RAG bands as an array of RAG status.

RAG Status for a metric: Retrieves RAG bands for a specific group such as TOC, PPT etc.

Station: Returns a list of Stanox IDs matching the Stanox name.

Operators: Retrieves the performance data based on the operator type

Stanox Groups: Retrieves the list of available Stanox groups

Stanox Group Members: Retrieves the list of Stanox group members.

Performance Data of data type: Retrieves performance data for a given datatype. Data type can be one of PPM or RTOTM or RT or ALL.

Performance Data of RTOTM Stanox Group: Retrieves stanox group performance data for RTOTM Only

Performance Data of datatype and service group key: Retrieves performance data based on data type and service group

Performance Data of data type and toc: Retrieves performance data based on data type and toc code

Performance Data of data type and sector: Retrieves performance data based on data type and sector code
