Intended Use

The Assets Notifications ERP API enables solutions to Create the Assets Notifications entry in ASPIRE S/4HANA System from Service-now, JAMES, e.t.c.

Through this API, Source Systems can create Notification and upload attachments.

Business Case

The mdm-assets-s4h-proc API acts as a Process application to create notification (Asset notification through Service Now or James,e.t.c) and uploading the attachments for the same.

  1. This API will be invoked by external sources like service now or JAMES or any other external source.
  2. This API will call S/4Hana Assets system API to create the notification.
  3. Once notification is created this process api will call document system API to send the attachments using the notification number received as a response.
