Intended Use

The Distribute ERP Sales Order Updates API enables to send sales order status updates between S/4 HANA and 4PL systems.

Through this API, Source Systems can send sales order status updates and get acknowledgements.

Business Case

The snd-o2c-orderupdate-proc API acts as a Process application to send sales order status updates and receive acknowledgements from 4PL to SAP S/4 HANA.

  1. This API will be invoked by SAP S/4Hana.
  2. This API will call 4PL to send sales order status updates.
  3. Once sales order is updated this process api will call S/4Hana to send acknowledgement using acknowledgement API.
