Overview

The Landata Digital Distribution Platform (DDP) provides an Application Programming Interface (API) for Brokers and Customers to access Land Registry Services provided on behalf of Land Use Victoria and products and services provided by SERV.

These are RESTful APIs that are provided to Brokers and Customers in addition to the existing SOAP-Based Landata WebServices APIs. As they offer a more modern, easier to setup, faster, more secure manner to connect to LANDATA Services, any new APIs will be established as Digital Distribution Platform APIs.

Discovery APIs

The discovery set of services allow you to search through the different registry entities in Victoria: parcels, properties and titles. Whatever pieces of information you have to begin with, an address or a volume/folio for example, you can use these APIs to understand and confirm the property you are looking for. Then you can use the response from these services to make an order for that property.

Available now:

  • Title Discovery - Get the details of a title and the related properties and parcels associated with it by providing a volume & folio number. This helps to confirm the right title and/or property before then making an order for certificates in Landata.
  • Property Discovery - Get the details of a property and its related title and parcels associated with it by providing an address, Council Property Number (CPN) or Persistent Feature Identifier (PFI). This helps to confirm the right title and/or property before then making an order for certificates in Landata.
  • Parcel Discovery - Get the details of a parcel of land and the related properties and titles associated with it by providing a Standard Parcel Identifier (SPI). This helps to confirm the right title and/or property before then making an order for certificates in Landata.

Available soon:

  • Address Search - Search through the list of addresses available in Victoria's most up to date database of addresses, and once you have found your match you can send this to Property Discovery to get its details.
  • Proprietor Search - Search through the proprietor names and companies that are listed on titles in Victoria, and when you've confirmed the name you can send it to Title Discovery to get details on their titles.
