About the Connector
The Trax Connector enables Mulesoft customers to integrate shelf & merchandising data from Trax into their existing solutions.

Trax connector enables you to connect to select endpoints of Trax’s APIs, and exposes endpoints for accessing Trax data.

Prerequisites
To use this connector, you must be familiar with:
- Trax Connector’s API
- Anypoint connectors
- Mule runtime engine (Mule)
- Creating a Mule app using Anypoint Studio
Before creating an app you must have
- Credentials to access Trax resources
- Working knowledge of the Trax product and the data supported
- Knowledge of how to create a Mule app using Anypoint Studio
Authentication
Trax connector uses an API Access key for authentication. Contact your Trax representative to receive the key for your project
Limitations
Trax Connector does not expose all possible operations of the Trax API
Next Step After you complete the prerequisites, you are ready to create an app and configure the connector using AnypointStudio
