API Definition:

Fraud transaction API group is used for identifying the list of fraud transactions received on the payfac platform for review. Using these set of APIs, the fraud transactions which were received for review (aka watch transactions) can be searched, and the status of these fraud transactions can be updated after transaction review.

Business Description:

Fraud transaction API can help to search for the watch transactions (suspected fraud transactions) received on the payfac platform. Also, these APIs can be used to update the status for watch transactions present on the platform for review. These set of APIs can help the platform to reduce transaction frauds.

UseCase:

Here a transaction is suspected as fraud by the FRM system and the transaction is sent in review as a watch transaction. PayFac's authorized user can review this transaction and can take appropriate decisions on the transaction by updating the status of the transaction.
