Overview
MuleSoft Direct for Data Cloud empowers companies to bring essential information from external systems into Data Cloud, fueling innovative AI applications across Salesforce. By leveraging these pre-built applications to ingest unstructured data, organizations can augment AI prompts, resulting in more accurate and reliable outputs from large language models (LLMs).
Use cases
[Use case 1 - Unstructured data ingestion]: Will include assets to integrate knowledge repository sources including Google Drive, Microsoft SharePoint, Confluence and Sitemap with Data Cloud. The provided integration applications will facilitate the orchestration required to ingest metadata and content, both during initial setup and as the data is updated over time. This use case and its associated assets (both applications and documentation) will be available soon.
What is MuleSoft Direct?
MuleSoft Direct is a capability embedded directly into the Salesforce UI that allows users to:
- Discover pre-built integration applications from Anypoint Exchange in Salesforce
- Configure and deploy these integrations into Anypoint Platform from Salesforce
Salesforce administrators can access this feature from the Admin Console. It is available at no extra cost for existing MuleSoft and Salesforce customers.
