Opus Consulting - User API Template

API Definition:

User can be of two types here:

• Payfac user which will be using the payfac platform to perform various operations with respect to the merchant
• Merchant users will be using the merchant platform to perform various operations with respect to the merchant

Supported operations are: Create a user (payfac user or merchant user), update user, search user, update user status, user login, forgot password, change password, delete user.

Business Description:

User APIs can help payfac & its merchants to manage their user profiles with respect to the platform. Operations like create, update, search, fetch & delete the user can be performed using these User APIs. The services like user login, forgot username, forgot password, change password and many more can be achieved using user APIs. This API can definitely ease the maintenance of the user on the platform.

Use Case:

Here a merchant is onboarded on PayFac,

The merchant is assigned with the merchant's superuser (admin) credentials to login and to check the merchant dashboard on the merchant portal. This superuser is authorized to create further merchant portal users having privileges less than or equal to the superuser.

PayFacs authorized user can manage their merchant user profile by creating it for their merchants. Payfac can perform a various operations for their merchant user profile like search user, update user, fetch user list, delete user. These users can also use the option like user login , change & forgot password
