Setup Guide

To enable the Employee Offboarding Process integration, you must have access to Workday HRMS and Salesforce CRM with the appropriate permissions. Ensure the MuleSoft integration is deployed and configured within your MuleSoft Anypoint Platform environment.

MuleSoft Direct

The Employee Offboarding Process integration is available for discovery and deployment through the MuleSoft Direct application in Salesforce Employee Service Cloud.

To access MuleSoft Direct, navigate to Setup → MuleSoft → MuleSoft Direct Setup.

Prerequisites

Before you can use this integration app, you must have:

  • A Connected App in Salesforce.

  • Workday authentication details, including the Client ID, Client Secret, Tenant, and Host.

  • Salesforce API access for updating Employee2 records.

  • A MuleSoft API polling or event-based trigger configured for data synchronization.

Setup Steps

  1. Configure Workday outbound notifications or API polling settings.

  2. Deploy the MuleSoft integration within your Anypoint Platform environment.

  3. Provide Workday authentication credentials.

  4. Configure Salesforce API credentials for Employee2 record updates.

  5. Validate the integration setup with sample employee offboarding scenarios.
