What is the WRM Trigger API?

The Work Request Manager (WRM) Trigger API is a WRM-integrated test API and is part of our new self-service on-boarding environment for the Work Request Manager API. It enables you to test the end-to-end lifecycle of work requests.

The WRM Trigger API allows Work Suppliers to initiate WRM API actions that would normally be restricted to the role of a Work Requestor in the live environment. You are able to simulate sending a work request, cancelling a work request, putting a work request on hold, sending updates to the work request, or requesting the cancellation of an activity.

This test API has been designed to enable you to self-serve your testing as you get familiar with the API. You can use it for testing initial integration, as well as validating integration and operational changes in the future.

This API is an isolated environment that will mimic the behaviour, validation, and rules of the WRM production environment and will be maintained as any version changes are made to the production version.
