Customers expect their banks to have a holistic relationship with them. MuleSoft Accelerator for Financial Services simplifies the creation of a customer 360 view by unlocking data from key systems including core banking platforms, systems of engagement (e.g., CRM and ITSM), and FinTechs. This enables real-time relationship management and connected customer experiences.

Use cases

Use case 1 - Core banking foundation — allows for the display of a customer’s financial summary from multiple systems. There are two views supported in this solution:

  • Customer view — allows customers to view their latest financial summary, retrieve account transactions, and dispute a transaction.
  • Customer service representative (CSR) view — allows CSRs to view the customer’s financial summary, refresh the customer's financial information from back-end systems, and resolve a disputed transaction.

Use case 2 - Customer onboarding — leverages Salesforce Financial Services Cloud as the system of engagement and DocuSign as the document management system.

Use case 3 - Payments modernization — accelerates the development of modern payment solutions for Financial Institutions. Banks and Credit Unions will be able to deliver a diverse payments landscape that can address multiple types of financial transactions and customer needs.

What is a MuleSoft Accelerator?

Accelerators are a collection of technical assets (predominantly API specifications and implementation templates) and documentation to accelerate the implementation of multiple use cases supporting a larger business and/or industry problem.
